Meet Your Team

R.J. (Len) McKamie
Copyeditor & Proofreader
Twenty years in the trenches of blue collar America and seven years as an evangelical Christian pastor came with many hard-fought lessons. He was once a best-in-the-field automotive diagnostician, but physical limitations ended that career. Religious trauma ended the other. A sharp attention to detail and a genuine care for people made the shift to editing a natural move. He is analytical and practical, but if you invite him to a party, he will likely spend his time on the floor making friends with your cat or dog. . .while silently correcting your grammar.
If you need your manuscript polished after book coaching, R.J. is your copyeditor and proofreader. But beyond that, he labors behind the scenes to make things run smoothly and works with our B2B editing clients. He is the logical sounding board for all of your book coach's wild ideas and brainstorming sessions. R.J. holds an Associate of Science in Automotive Technology, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.

Rebekah (Tyne) McKamie
Developmental Book Coach
A creative mind with ADHD and showtunes always playing in her head, Rebekah is a gifted writer, editor, and writing instructor. She homeschooled three neurodivergent children through graduation, and they are all excellent communicators. Her uncanny ability to call out themes, patterns, and undertones when no one was asking makes her an excellent story coach. . .and probably unruly. . .and kind of a nerd.
Rebekah has always felt like editing brings her in too late in the book writing process. Book coaching allows her to help writers grow as their story does. She has provided support to dozens of authors through editing, ghostwriting, and book coaching. She has also published five novels of her own, and even some poetry. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music, a Master of Arts in Composition (& Rhetoric), and a Master of Arts in Professional Writing. She is your primary contact, your book coach, and hopefully part of the reason you finish your book!
